APRIL FOOLS' DAY




whee~



hmm this morning... when i stepped into the toilet, i saw a cockroach on the wall just beside the toilet bowl. it's quite BIG...and me, being terrified of insects (esspecially COCKROACHES) >.<, ran out of the toilet and called my mom to 'spray it away'. and it fell into the toilet bowl and my mom flushed it down. the end. lolll... why the heck am i telling you this? april fools' day is always boring for me... it's ALWAYS boring in SINGAPORE. boring singapore.

had sports day...at bedok stadium... i came with li yin... she lives near me u see? in sengkang, so ya... we took 87 to bedok...


this year's sports day was quite fun ah... 'funner' that last yr... i tink it's cuz last yr my class wasn't tt bonded yet....

wel, even tho my class din win THAT much events today, it was ok la... i joined novelty event- we had to skip in pairs to the center that take the ball and put it in between our backs while our backs faced each other and arms locked. my partner was nadiah... fun ah, but my class emerged 2nd, 1st is 2/7, 3rd is 2/5.. my class was only a FEW seconds away from 1st position ah... wadeva la... i'm crapping....


then, we also did the mass dance- a tradition of tkgs... quite fun and also LAME.... second half of the dance we were like heck care and started to be in a BIG circle (by classes) and spin round and round and round..... dotx...

then lastly, it has been tradition that the symphonic band members take band photo after every year's sports day.... here are the photos...

well, it happened at tampines library........... WAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!! but haiyo. my fault oso. i left my bag unattended and actually exposed the contents of the smaller zip-pocket to that ASSHOLE. so ya.. he hasn't got any life, hence decided to steal ppl's things.... GO AND DIE AH... ahem. btw, to all ppl out there, pls take good care of ur belongings. bring along ur treasures (handphone; mp3; wallet; ect..) with you WHEREVER u go.. okay that's all. tata.

i had fun yesterday... my family and i went camping with cik raihan's family at ECP.... we went on wednesday night... that night it was no fun cuz i was kinda in a bad mood.... and was so tired after band... but the next day was oookay la..

my family had known cik raihan's family like, since forever. well, my dad knew cik raihan from his police years. yep, my dad was a ploiceman at first but now he's an english lecturer in inova jc. cik raihan is still a police. but by the way, they became frens and then both got married and have children, so cik raihan's children and my siblings and i feel like cousins. so we are kind of close in relationship. almost EVERY year, every holidays, we went out (on holiday) together.

so.. yesterday, zahirah brought her camera so when us girls (me, my sisters and zahirah) wen for a walk, we also took pictures of ourselves (lol)

it was so bloody boiling hot ah... couldn't stand it... and my dad can go and swim in the sea, some more... i mean, you'll get darker right? lol la..


zharif (anga) and zhafir (adik su) oso swam... and anga was digging the sand and scooping sea water and pouring it inside his 'sand hole' (who knows what he's doing? maybe building his very own swimming pool?), when kak isyah (was it kak isyah or zahirah?) told him to lie in the hold and we bury him inside.... so we did.... and then kak nana sculpted a mermaid's tail at the end, so i helped...

haha and then u noe what my mom did? she suddenly scooped two handfuls of sand and placed them on the chest part- as boobs! well, anga couldn't rily see ah... lol! i couldn't stop laughing!! haaha...

then adik su's turn.. he was more sporting ah (anga was like kept moving so the sand on him kinda cracked and spoilt)... but he onli buried his legs (i tink he doesn't want boobs..!) into a mermaids tail... so funny...

so i guess we did had a nice time..

i had band in the morning jux now... it was quite ok... i nearly overslept until kak nana suddenly woke me up at 7.30 (i was suppose to reach school by 8.30 and it takes one hour to reach there by bus.)... i felt like kissing her for waking me up cuz i dun want to miss band... so yaa.... then my mom sent me to school.....

band was fun today... we played movement for rosa and some other march scores... and YIDDISH DANCES..... yes! i LUUURVE yiddish dances!!! it's soooooooooooo nice!!!!! and quite easy oso.......

btw, the indian students in our sch hosted the indian society stuff doing some activities today, so there were indian ppl frm alot of other schools ah... (am i sounding racist? cuz i'm not trying AND i'm NOT OK?)

so when band was over,as i was walking towards the gate wif atifa and laura, there were some ppl wearing coca-cola shirts (must be coca-cola ppl..) walking towards every1, and giving out FREE COKE LIME..!!!! the person said can take as many as we want, but u noe how many i took?????? ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

then i found out frm laura tt she saw i truck FULL of coke lime bottles, that's y they giving them away.. ( btw coca-cola sponsored for the indian soceity gathering i tink)

yay. we did our PE gymnastics routine..... well, actually almost ALL of the groups were not at all ready.... during PE, mrs tan gave us a bit of time to get all our steps ready and stuffs....

well, actually, for each group, there shud be 4 ppl. but then, rachel lim hurt her ankle, so her group joined ours. so now, my grp has 7 ppl..... quite difficult to do steps wen there are odd-numbered ppl arh... but it all turned out ok...

we used 'Walk Away' by Blue for the background song... and it REALLY suits out routine. (the really is in capslock cuz we never practised with the song before the "big day"..) yep... to tell you the truth, i LOVE our routine.... =))))))


so ya.... it turned out nice... and quite satisfying.... sakina's grp had the nicest routine ah.... veryy nice.......

hmmm... that previous post, abt the high jump thingy, well, actually, i din rily go to the high jump yesterday cuz at abt 2.15, i went to check the notice board again, to be sure that i'm rily the one who's supposed to do high jump. but to my shock (and relief xP), it stated SHERMAINE'S name and noelle's instead of mine, so i was like, ok, so i'm suppose to go home... so i went home...

and u noe what? actually, i was supposed to replace shermaine cuz my sports capt wrote her name and handed in the form, but shermaine doesnt want to do the high jump, so sports capt asked me, so i said ok..

sooooo, which means that i WAS supposed to do high jump. i was quite frustrated with that person AND that preson (names will not be mentioned)..

so today, before badnd, i went for the rescheduled high jump.. told mdm lee i was replacing shermaine choy.. then she asked y sher din come ystday.. i just said that she had forgotten to come.... xP

so ya.. i did high jump [wee shan was there, and she was soo cute =)))] but only got over 1.06m... x((( i was quite disappointed and depressed actually... hmmm... but nvm.......

so yep..

ooohh.... i had my HEATS today (hmmm i wonder what HEATS stand for....) .. i was running in the 400m event... yep, 400m is one whole round of the stadium... yaaa....

but anw, before reaching Victoria Junior College (we 'borrowed' track, u see?), i was like feeling TEEERIIBBLYY nervous... we had assembly in the hall for the last period, and when it is like, ending, i suddenly felt this familiar nervous feeling like as if i'm gonna die (lol)... i kept telling sakina (she was beside me) that i was so scared... i was so bloody nervous and shaking inside...

then, i went to vjc wif diyana....................

blahblahblahdeedaa...... then, when it was time for me to run (i was at lane 3), i began doing leg warm-ups and i was like praying and praying to god ...... and then,,,,,,,,,,,, off we go!!!!!!!!
at first i ran quite slow, but i was quite shock as my 'slow' felt quite fast (I AM NOT BOASTING OR SOMETHING. THERE ARE ALOT OF OTHERS WHO CAN RUN FASTER, I KNOW.) .. but that's not the point.

i was nearing half of the round, and then suddenly amirah 2/4 started catching up.. and i sprinted a bit.... OH HOW I WISH I DID NOT.... cuz then i slowed dwn, and i felt so tired... eeerrggghhh...... but then, i sprinted and ran as fast, the fastest i can go, until i felt like falling... i remembered that i was looking down, jux focusing on the ground and entirely on running quickly.. then i caught up wif the girl in front of me who was 3rd, hence i became 3rd ah... then i wanted to catch up wif the 2nd girl in front of me, but i tink i would haf heart attack if i tried to run even faster, so yepp, i got third placing out of six people... and ya la... i'm quite happy la...

then after that, i was thinking to go tm to look for kak nana's birthdae prezzie.... and maryam and chia li actually wanted to accompany me, but then at last they wan2 go hme.... so i went hme oso la.....

so ya... i tried to do as much homework at hme.. (i was alone at hme, u see?), but there are sooo many distractions at hme..... =( so ya.....

then actually, today, at around 7.30pm, there was a gathering for my cousins only(those hu can come), for kak nana and ayat (cousin) nye birthday celebration at compass point pizza hut. ayat's bdae was yesterday, and kak nana's bdae is tmr... so celebrate today la..

so there are 10 people hu could come, and i was the first (among ten of us) to reach compass point... next was tasha... then kak nana... kak isyah... ayat... musa and adnan... kak redha and inah... ayun.....

and us csp pupils jux found out today that the msp cikgu allowed them to go on the amazing race cuz they oso having some msp activity while they're!! like not fair?!

so, us csp pupils, 'protested' to our chinese teacher to organized sort of activity tat we can do for csp while we're there..... but to nooo avail..... we bagged her, thought of solutions and blahdeedaa... but *sigh*...............

ohh! mrs yong din come today.... so for dnt, we went to the workshop (mr ibrahim as 'teacher' for the day) and continued with our acrylic thing... i completed mine... jux hadta finish the bending....

then wen alia, sakina and i, went to canteen and bought burger and decided to eat at the umbrella tables, and then all three of us sat at the bench at one side only and GUESS what? the whole table nearly toppled on US!! i mean, are we that heavy??? then yaa, we went to sit at another table... -.-'

fine..... then after school, sakina and i went along with alia to her hse... (she moved hse to condominium u see?)... yaa... we wanted to see her new hse ah... and oso while we're there, we practised lit dramatisation.... very cool ah (her hse).. the swimming pool so nice.. =))) and to tell u the truth, i LUURVE the yellow buildings.. (yaa the buildings are painted NICE YELLOW) yupyup....

then wen going hme, me and sakina waited for the bus at the bustop (duh) and then there was this NICE makcik hu suddenly talked to us... she said that it's good to be in tkgs.... quite difficult to get into tkgs... that her niece whose mother, grandmother all went to tkgs... haha so cool....

but then during english lesson, i was surprised dat i din rily feel like reading the straits times cuz usually i luuurve reading the ST... but i dunnnooo... maybe i was jux feeling down and depressed........

then i jux found out that i'm more serious in studies.... cuz we hadta do mindmap for geog jux now (during geog lesson) and i kinda made sure i dun get distracted while doing it... and i tink i looked so serious [whaha =))] and i actually wanted to finish it by the end of the lesson (cuz usually, i wud not gif a damn abt mindmaps and jux tell myself dat i can jux finish at hme, but i never do complete it at hme)...

so i guess i rily want to do well for this year.... so wish me luck..

i'm so busy these days that i won't have much time for blogging... XP

k.. here's what have been going on in my band.. yesterday we had a combine concert with a high skool from japan - Nakamura Girls' High School (but sadly i was sick n din watch!!!!) . everyone said they were rily pro n more entertaining than our sch band performance....i heard they played seriously FABulous... and u noe wad? the tubists were like lifting their tubas up in the air at nearly 90 decrees!!! COOOOLL....

then today in sch, we had sort of an interaction with the girls...we had sectionals (like tuba with tuba, flute with flute...) and we asked them questions la....but guess wad? they dunno english..so SEKSER wen trying to communicate with them... but funn....hahaa

then i the hall, the sec2s n sec3s and the nakamura girls played combine... they played dancing in the wind and if we hold on together... IT WAS SOOOO NICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
wen they played dancing in the wind i was lyk in awe..... n in the verge of tears...? i dunno y... i tink it's bcoz it's too nice and i'm sensitive..whaha!

but then after dat the nakamura girls onli performed for us...it's this familiar tune..i 4got where i've heard it.... mayb frm little mermaid..? but it was all perrrrfect...!! sooo nice.........!! i shud haf brought down my mp3 to record!!! damn!

but too late...

then it's lunch, and there were catered foood...mostly pies and puffs..... nice ah.... at the table, we exchanged emails... told them our names...it was all funny... but ok... n they gave us to try this japanese snack which tasted mostly lyk potato.. it was rily nice...we all liked it...

then we had another surprise frm the girls...they suddenly got up wen their band leader (i tink) said sumtink in japanese to dem, and i tot they were leaving aredi and i felt sadd...but they all stood in front of us (like all gathered) and we tot it was foto taking or sumtink... but then they actually wanted to sing for us...and they sang rily GOOD!! better than our sch choir i bet... damn they can do anything..!

then wen their bus going out of the sch grounds we waved n waved at them... soo sad u noe... time so short to get to noe them.... we did a sort of kalang wave in front of them... so weird..whaha....

so yep... that was my day...
