OK MOM'S BIRTHDAY. updated on 23 april. lols.

first, HAPPY 42ND BIRTHDAY MUMMYYYY! =DDD

ok, all i remember is that i dressed up really nice for the occasion, *ahem* and we went to bilal restaurant. oh at first we wanted to go sakura buffet restaurant (on top of that hill=D), we drove all the way there aredi, but then my dad look at the price (shown outside), then change his mind. LOLS.

bilal restaurant was veryyyy nice. damn fast, the service. the food, damn shiok! i like ah.. we bought alot of food, not ala carte, we bought white rice and alot of different dishes.

there weren't that many people (could be because it's a weekday) so the waiters paid the most attn to us. even the chefs from inside looked at us. alah i know la we very prettyy.. HAHAH lols jk...

yup they were very nice, even the manager.. oh and i wore my new shoes for the first time that day also. love my shoes! =DDD

dad bought couple watches from guess for mom and himself. showing off! haha

today is a bad day. but i shouldn't bother.

updating on 23 april, but happened 24 march, the date of this post. it's so that i can easily refer back by date next time. LOLS.

ok, so what i remembered about today was nadiah, nadia, sharifah and i went to swenson's at parkway. haha sajeje nak habiskan duit.. and nadiah wants to see that oh-so-familiar-looking guy working there..



so we reached there at about 2.45pm. wanted to buy the 2 sundaes for $9.90, but that promotion only starts at 3pm, so we went in and talk until it's 3pm.. lols.. we bought a sundae each. i was dumb: i figured since i was rily hungry, i could finish a rily big sundae, so i chose it la.. when it was served, i was shocked. mine was the biggest among the sundaes and mine had three scoops of ice cream. i was already feeling full reaching the second scoop. by the time i reached the last scoop, half of it melted aredi. i hate melted ice-cream. xP

nadiah pretended to be lesbian ad told sharifah about it. sharifah, being gullible really belived her. then when nadiah purposely hugged me and put her head on my shoulder, she made a disgusted face! HAHA sharifah, sharifah...

oh and there's this hot guy working at the swenson's and the three of them kept looking at him AT THE SAME TIME. haha i was embarrassed, ppl! xP but ya la, he's hot.. oh and we were deciding whether or not to go up to the guy nad claims familiar and ask him if he knows nad, coz according to nad, he kept looking at her last time. i wanted to do it but at last didn't. oh he's not cute. he's short. haha, evil.

then we took 31 home together and it was kecoh all the way home.........

yesterday: sajak competition was a blast!

i got to school together with sharifah and nadia. school was locked so all of us had to wait outside main gate..

saw arina and her group of friends. syiq says she's scared of me. i wonder why. asyiqin pls enlighten me, or arina. =)

then syafiqah came (four of us were the only sec4s there, ain was sick, atifa, azura, diyana and syafiqah all backed out) and we camwhored.

we got on the bus to NUS.

i was surprised RI and VS didn't participate. honestly, the only real competition were st andrews and cedar. lol. some schools did quite weird and some really did their sajak literally according to the theme which is sekecil zarah (as small as an atom). like they talked about water molecules and zarah make up daging (meat) and sorts.

i'm proud of my juniors who did FANTASTIC even though we didn't win 1st place. we got 3rd, cedar 2nd and sa 1st for the 6th time in a row (i think).

then after that we did the tk philosophy. us sec4s had to lead. it was so weird, at first i was like, ok let's cheer, i was waiting for an automatic start, but there wasn't rily, then i realised all of the rest of them were staring at us sec4s. so we led. felt weird. but we didn't forget our school cheer, NO we didn't. =)

oh ya, one of the hosts was an ex-tkgian, there was one time she said she wanted to relive her tkg moments, and suddenly she shouted "TK'S NO.1!" and pointed the mic at our direction. for a second i had no idea what we had to do, until someone behind me shouted "2, 3, 4!" when i realised it's part of the TK anthem. the part we shout aah, aaah, aaaah, and shout really loud at the end. i tell you we shouted DAMN loud. we shouted THE LOUDEST, the place was almost shaking, ppl were closing their ears, (i was quite embarrassed) but what the hell, that's the way we are with TK SPIRIT. =)

after that cikgu alena talked to the performers, until she cried. so sad la..

oh ya, we did ALOT of camwhoring. =DD

quite boring..

yes! i finally fixed my blog. i'm so clever. =)))))))

google earth is so cool.. i went to florida disneyland, the pyramids of egypt, switzerland, the london eye and mount everest! hahah

Went to buy band u blouses yesterday with azura and then nadiah called wanting to follow, so we all went together..

i had to lug the huge plastic bag of 38 blouses all the way home. it was HEAVY. azura suggested going back to school and dumping it in the general office, but i pity nadiah even though she said she didn't mind, so i decided to bear with it. it was quite torturous, but i managed. =)

First day of school. wth i tot it's even week since it's week 12 of the year, but nooo it's odd week- week 1 of the TERM. so i came to school wearing pe shirt when there's no pe today, and i didn't bring GG and Amath textbooks. tough luck. i got booked by mrs khoo for not bringing workbook. =((

oh well.. anw, after school i accompanied nadiah eat at banquet at parkway. suddenly there were so many kc ppl. like about four groups of them. at this one table, there were many kc girls and 3 st pats boys, and the girls were like giggling at what "funny" antics the guy were doing. it was annoying. nadiah suggested we giggled at our textbooks. that cracked me up.

i think they were talking about us coz after we were done eating, we stood up, and they immediately turned to stare at us. especially the guys. and some guys and kc girls at another table also stared at us. i dunno if it was because we were like giants (or maybe just nad xP) or they were dazzled by our beauty. hahahahahahahaha. funny.

after that we walked around. i dragged nadiah to dorothy perkins to look at the clutches. not that nice. i can't wait for a new batch to arrive.

then we went to borders were we sat and browsed through magazines. i din't know we could do that ah.. i mean, there were even chairs and many people were doing that and look at the condition of at least one of the different mags. there were tons of imported mags, so i was like really happy i could look through them for free, especially Elle, Bazaar and Supermodels. i just love looking at branded and expensive stuff. makes my skin tingle. =D oh and i looked this Hairstyles mag which was interesting. i'm actually kinda thinking of what hairstyle i should do next till i came across this style in that mag:

tell me it's freaking nice! i know it is! but i'm scared my hair won't turn out like that if i decide to do it. and what if it doesn't suit me? =((( maybe during the june holidays. =D

then we went home together... reached home so late at 7pm.. lols.

Woke up at 7.30 this morning to do homework.. was feeling so shiok doing chem when at 9 am, my mom went into my room and told me to get ready, we going jamiyah mosque for religious lessons. but at last when we reached there, there were hardly anyone there unlike usual. so we figured today don't have la. so at last we went to eat and beach road and then went to paragon.

i think it was my first time at paragon or might be the first time me noticing the shops there. OMG all the shops are freaking branded. the brands i read about into shopaholic are there! got Raoul, Armani Xchange, MIU MIU (!!), Guess and like loads more! i tell you i was actually feeling excited. lols at last the only thing i bought there was this striped cardigan from metro. oh and in metro, there were sooo many gorgeous heels and bags! my head was spinning. haha. there was this pair of shoes by Jennifer Lopez. it was really cute. ya, the price also cute- $145.++.

i found out after that outing tha i'm CRAZY over accessories. bags, rings, belts, bangles, hair accessories................. =D

then we went in Guess and my god i love the clutch wallet! aaaaaahhhhhhh.. but it's $65.++

Went singapore poly just now coz i signed up for a short course on chemistry experimental which was mainly because mrs chan told us they were teaching us make perfume. =DD

nadiah didn't know what time we were supposed to meet in sch to board a bus chartered to bring us to SP. and she didn't even bother to ask anyone. lols. at last her dad sent her straight there and eventually she reached there a few minutes before we did.


i didn't know that SP's quite old. i mean, i expected the labs to be HUGE, but it was smaller than ours. but there were alot of labs la..


yup. we had some refreshments before starting on anything then we split into two groups of about 20, one doing the paperweight and the other doing the perfume. nadiah, g and i did paperweight first and mimi did perfume.


doing the paperweight was quite fun. we learnt about the manufacture of polyester (which was what our paperweight was made of) and i love the decorating part. but i could use more time..my polyester dried too fast while nadiah's took soo long.. lols. at last mine turned out quite nice, but could use more glitter..




then we swapped. before we actually did our own perfume, the professor dr ong gave a short lecture or introduction on scents. didn't know there were many catagories of smells. and there are also scents extracted from animals. gross. dr ong told us about how the whale is gotten- from it's phlegm. ugh. then from civet cat, they got it from their anus. they would provoke the civet cat and the animal will produce some kind of substance in their anus. super gross. oh and he told us there was one time when he mentioned the civet cat, this student, dunno from what secodary school, immediately asked if he ws referring to the cat from which the world's MOST expensive coffee was made. the student said it tasted wonderful. what dr ong didn't tell her was how the coffee's made- they feed the civet cat coffee beans and they will shit out poo with partially digested coffee bens and it would be made into the world's most expensive coffee... lolllls.. and the student actually said it tasted wonderful.............

so anw, dr ong gave us to smell different scents. like over 10 different smells..... sooo many until i was getting really dizzy. i get headaches very easily la.. so when at last we could get on to doing our perfume, i was excited. first we did a concoction of the perfume Pleasure by Estee Lauder. yes, we actually MADE a branded perfume. cool right? then after that we could add drops of other scents. dr ong said to add a maximum of 2 types, but i added 3. or was it 4? i can't rmb, i was having fun. =)))) but i rmb i added orchid, mint and rose. yep. at last my perfume smell nice. i really love it. i'm very picky about perfumes coz most of them intantly make me dizzy, but mine doesn't, so i'm happy. =DDD

oh ya, i named it Glamour by Amirah.=DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

then when we're done, we got out dried paperweights. found out that the other group who did it after us had to wait for about an hour for theirs to dry otherwise theirs would be delivered to school. so, i'm glad i did the paperweight first. =D

well, yesterday, band, was qute ok... we watched a video of this orchestra playing la forza del destino from mr ong's dvd. it was very nice, especially the HUGE group of string ensemble. there were so little brass and woodwinds- 1 tuba, 2 trombones, 2 trumpets, no eupho, 1 oboe, 1 flute, 1 clarinet. and surprisingly they could play REALLY loudly...

today no school, hence my doing-homework day. almost finishing heymaths, and that's it. lols.. i have to start getting motivated like nadia..

oh, and being uniform qm kinda sucks. thx to nadia and sharifah for being there when i was reaaaalllyyy stressed up because of it. =)))))

had band clean up just now... was chaotic... we had to organize the band office, vivaldi room and the band storeroom. quite chaotic, with scores lying ALL around, and intruments crowding the corridor.. syiq and jodi poor things, had to SCRUBBED the floor in vivaldi.. while jia xin and i arranged loose scores in the cupboard.. then i found this hilarious score:

so, mopped, swept, scrubbed and scores all arranged, at last atifa, azura and i headed to parkway. =)

went to eat at banquet (carrot cake!), and also did ALOT of window shopping. it's was tiring but fun. =))

oh and we bumped into weeling. she noticed us first. i didn't notice her at first, and by the time i did, she was already walking away while i stared at her. haha it was quite long since i saw her, and i really missed her. anyway it was raining, don't expect me to run to her with my umbrella leaving azura (i was sharing my umbrella with her).. so in the end i was quite sad i didn't get to chat with her or sth..

band was DAMN BORING yesterday... coz atifa and i still had to lend our sec1s our instruments... so we taught them, walked around, slacked scribble on the whiteboard, laugh at some english handout (i found it under a table).... so at last i went to take my book Nineteen Minutes but the book was BLOODY big and i tried to hide it on my way back to my sectional area.. i had to avoid ms sia and nicole. lolss...

amy's in main band now. so she came today.. poor thing, since she doesnt have her own tuba, she spent most of her time stoning in front of her scores and just listening to us..

oh, just now, ms ang came up to me and said the choir wanted to borrow skirts. they're going to italy this thursday for a competition, and their conductor hates the dress they have ALREADY bought. wth? it's like nice wat?? the conductor wants them to wear sth like the band-green blazer and skirt. in the end they borrowed blazers and skirts from the prefectorial board, but they still needed some more skirts so they borrowed from us. BUT, i have given the new and bigger ones to the newest batch, so what's left are the freakishly smaller ones.. lols. so i dunno howww the choir's gonna get their costumes...

ok anw, i signed up for this chemistry expperimental thingy at singapore poly which is on next saturday, and i'm excited.


well, right now i'm reading this book A Walk To Remember by Nicholas Sparks, and have i just reached the part when Landon found out Jamie's dying. was reading that part on the bus on the way home with alia, and i had tears welling up. didn't really cry, just sort of sobbed.

class party was fun! at last everyone didn't complain about the size of the cake..

i felt sort of pleased with the present sharifah, nadia, mimi and i gave syaf.. it was what she wanted. but later i found out her sis also gave the same sort of gift. lols.

we had the mini party at the students' activity corner during recess. we sang birthday song for us (4/3/08 wat.. haha) and for syaf. we sang quite loudly i think ppl were looking at us.

so anw, syaf cut the cake and almost everyone got a slice (surprisingly). there were also loads of chips and marshmallows too.. some brought a lil snack. actually food was mostly planned and bought by sharifah and i.. yups..

then after school nadia, mimi, sharifah and i wanted to go eat cake at secret recipe but i sort of suggested other things coz frankly i was quite embarrassed to turn up at the same secret recipe after going there the day before. besides, we just ate cake during recess. so at last we went to eat at pizza hut at the same place (siglap) also.. there was a cute guy (nice eyes but too short xP) at the restaurant with whom shafa was really obsessed! haha freaking funny la. so yup we took quite alot of pictures, oggled at the guy-who held open the door for us on the way out (!)- and decided we have to come back maybe to secret resipe or kfc next time. love that place, not many ppl go there, so there's peace and quiet. =)) and siglap centre's not that bad actually. i hate crowds anw..
