this is gonna be a loong post.

holiday with cik raihan and family at KL and port dickson was actually fun.. we went on our way friday night, 14 dec, after my mom picked my sister and i from band sec4 farewell bbq in school.. oh ya speaking of the bbq, i was so sad that i couldn't stay till the end coz this year's farewell was WAAY better than last year's.

initially we wanted to do a haunted house theme, but at last cancelled (so sad!) coz studio was booked on that day. yep. when band ended at 4pm, we started preparations. washed bbq pit, prepare food, and set up pit. atifa, diy and i helped syiq to set up her game. (yes, there were games, and they were fun siak!) i tried out syiq's game, very fun but i hurt my hip and elbow coz had to roll on the bench, so i told her to change it to crawl on the bench. the game is like going through obstacles..

first they played the games, then we played and sang "if we hold on together". after that was the 'toast' to our own seniors. the flutists and saxists were very hyper. i was quite nervous to be talking (with atifa of course) in front of many ppl. yaya i have a teeny teeny problem of stage fright. but ok la. then ms sim said her speech coz she's leaving and everything was emotional.. she was quite sweet actually, her speech. then it was bbq time.

yep, abt our pit, mr ong so nice helped us start the fire. so at first it was going quite ok. we bbqed some food for ms sia and mr ong first then can we only cooked for ourselves. food cooked quite slow.. but the chicken was fab! the crab sticks tasted way better than last year. ms sim bought pizza, i ate a slice. and someone bought brownies which were nice.it was all very fun la with the sec1s there. elizabeth and azura and syiq put together, chaos! haha i love my section.

then i had to go.. went home to change and packed last minute stuffs, then off we go..

in kl on sat and sun. got to catch asian idol performance show, but not results show cox sunday night we were already on our way to port dickson..

port dickson, our beach resort was nice and big, but their service sucks. i think it's due to the MANY guests they have. they have like many buildings with rooms. the pool was quite big, constantly crowded. one day we went out and bought durian. LOTS of them. we ate at the poolside where there is a table. i ate too much that i fell sick the next day then spread it to all my sisters. lol. so all of us were sick. oh ya i had food poisoning.

then we returned to KL on wed. watched i am legend movie at time square, which was okkkkk... i don't rily like. or maybe i just have to watch it the second time. then after that we went shopping and everything, then back to cik raihan's condo, where we stayed. we took the train, and my two sisters were sitting down ah, the rest of us sttod coz it was crowded. so we were just talking among ourselves, discussed movies and everything.. we were talking in english quite loudly la. being typical s'poreans.. then suddenly this malaysian guy beside my sister asked her suddenly spoke to her:


weird guy: you..english?


sis: er no, i'm malay.

weird guy: then why you speaking english? orang melayu sepatutnya bercakap dalam bahasa malaysia, bahasa ibunda. (malays have to speak in malay)


then, guess what? he started singing his national anthem! lols la! we didn't care la. so i continued talking in english, so he murmured to himself more and sang louder. stupid ass. so annoying.

cik raihan left on thursday afternoon but we stayed till friday. so on thursday we went around kl by car. met up with tysha at this totally arab restaurant where the food is like totally original arab food. veryy ex but damn nice! their customers are mostly arabs too. got some cute ones too. heheh.

then we stopped by the secret recipe where tysha bought 5 slices of cake for us to enjoy at her condo later. yum yum. so tysha's condo is The Tamarind. it's damn nice k! i love the security. there's one guard for every floor of the parking lots.. then they have this chain thing which they lock after you've parked ur car and they'll open for you when you wanna drive out. her apartments cosy and the pooland poolside is damn pretty. my dad's planning on buying a condo in malaysia and he (and the rest of us) was interested in buying one at the tamarind...

next day we went to The Mall.. sound so nice but actually it's quite boring. we ate at kenny roger's and just walked around. i bought a charm bracelet. =) then we went to the eye on malaysia. EEEE... SO BORING CAN?? the wheel's sooo MUCHHHH smaller than singapore flyer. SERIOUS. it looks like a normal ferris wheel. and the location sux. there are residential areas around it. so what, we have to pay to ride a small ferris wheel just to see houses and the big lake surrounding it?? no way, so we just took pictures. the queue was damn long anw.
