oooh... just had my first secondary level malay oral.. and i think i screwed it big time... i think my reading of the passage was a lil too fast, making me trip over some words.. there the questioning part, my teacher asked "ceritakan tentang estet perumahan anda" which means elaborate about your neighbourhood. i stared at him. i mean what can i say about HOUGANG??? it's like one of the boringest neighbourhood! at first i mentioned abt there are more chinese than malay ppl... then, i said that alot of changes are being carried out... like hougang mall added more nice and hip shops, renovated and stuff.... then he asked what else changes being carried out. i mentioned about the widening of the road beside hougang ave 5.. i think... i mentioned that a lot of ppl complained that there will always be jam in the morning cuz the road is a route to TPE...

so ya... then he asked what differences are there in your neighbourhood.. i STARED at him.. DIFFERENCES?? oh yeah, i can think of some like- hougang is sooo boring with a boooring park called punggol park (which has trees eveywhere and a dumb playground and a HUGE pond in the middle interesting yeah right)

i kept on staring and saying uuum... then at last i said hougang is more peaceful than other neighbourhoods even tho it's boring.....
