only things i look forward to these days are cheerleading and rc.

cheerleading has been fun btw. i LOVE doing stunts. the dance they taught us is cool too.
can't wait for the next practice.

ok, i shall update on things that have been going on in my life.

1)i got into rc (rockclimbing, NOT red cross) exco, and am quarter mistress instead of vice captain which i originally ran for. honestly i felt quite affected by it but i managed to cover it quite well. i'm good at it so only a few would know how i really feel.

so anw, i thought i got over it totally, but sometimes i would feel the rejection again and i hate rejection. but QM's good. got to know joon kiat (prev qm) a lil more, and he's nice. (digression: i like his hair. lols)

2) i realise high high (nickname for HIM) is just at my height and i think i might even be a LITTLE bit taller than him. bummer. hope he grows soon.

3)hannah's in sc. nad's running for house comm. alia's in sc. proud of them. =)

4)so far i only passed one test which is maths. the rest, FAILLLL. sad sia.

5)i love my rc mates. they're just so gay. haha. btw, i'll be participating in my first ever competition on 15 may at velocity novena square. very nervous about it. anyone can come and support! =DD

6)i wanted to sign up for archery for pe elective, but alot of ppl said it's boring. so it's cable skiing instead.

7)i can't wait for thursday. can see my old ahem. and alia! =DD

8)i wonder when i can collect my grad cert.

i watched the french movie The Choir on Okto yesterday and i absolutely love it. partly because of Jean-Baptiste Maunier !! haha. he's hot.

i think HE should be edward cullen.

i hated the weather this morning, but i now, i'm loving it. i actually feel cool... thank god for the rain just now..

anyway, went to semarak temasek yesterday! honestly i didn't know it was even a competition and that seven jcs would be there. i just came for shrifah shahidah syed omar al-jufri. =) my darling was dikir barat-ing!

so anw, i met fifah and syaf at tj bus stop and we went in together. saw alot of mjc ppl and i didn't expect that. saw my dear rc senior husna too! she looks so cute in selendang.

srikandi temasek (the girls dikir grp) performed two times and they were good. the competition was themed after the old movies so all the skits are just a few scenes from different movies and all of them had to sing. i thught tpjc was the best, but they won second. i was surprised mjc won third cz honestly, they weren't really good and they even forgot the lyrics to the song. acjc won first.

there were alot of tkgians! was so happy to see my friends again. and i realised how much i missed sharifah that makcik! i actually felt prud watching her do dikir! haha.

17 sounds kinda cool.

my birthday started off reeeally bad. both parents were nagging and screaming at us in the morning about cleaning the house. pissed me off.

i skipped madrasah today. partly because i was sick from eating to much durian the night before and also to finish the tons of homework i had. didn't have enough time to do them on friday and saturday coz i was out.

in the afternoon my family and i went out for the traditional birthday dinner. since dad wanted to check out the new tampines 1 mall, we had dinner at secret recipe.

this year, i really dn't care about presents, coz somehow i feel quite content with my life right now. but i am really happy with the presents i got.

i got a pair of much needed Asics running shoes, a much needed (red!) pencil box from lin, cool levi's jeans from kak nana, two gorgeous tops fro kak isyah and a striking red (!) solvi titus watch.

i wore one of the tops and the jeans to the dinner, love them!

thanks to my family for celebrating my birthday, and thanks to all my friends who remembered and wished me. LOVE YOU LOTS AND ALWAYS!

me and xing hua didn't have the heart to dispose of our chem titration results. i just had to take a picture of them. strangely i felt they had some kind of significance. maybe it's got to do with what happened during that period! hahaa... ahem was there doing make up chem prac with my class. i was damn shocked laa. haha. thank god i didn't shriek out loud.

lol. anw, today's pe sucked.

i am so tired nowadays. piles of homework practically everyday and i'm deprived of sleep!

nonetheless, let's talk about rockclimbing again!

i am so disappointed with myself coz i couldn't reach the top today. i feel like i've lost the motivation already, i dunno since when and why. but on the bright side, i saw chilli today! hehe.

anw, here was a soccer match between mjc and river valley high today. soo many outsiders came to watch it too, and there were alot of mats also. and fifah came! so happy to see her. sorry babe, couldn't sit down and chat just now.

anw, of course mj won with a score of 4-0. too bad ahem wasn't playing. he was a reserve i think.

THAT up there is not a band around my finger. that's my finger. lol. i put a plaster around my finger on friday and felt really uncomfortable since then. i thought it was just my wound, but actually it turns out the pain was actually because the plaster sort of stopped my blood circulation at that area. when i finally took it off, i was beyond shocked and SCARED when i saw my finger had a WHITE area in the middle. seriously it was white, not even light brown. i was praying that i wouldn't have to amputate it off! lol. oh i can even think to myself 'so this is how a dead finger would look like'. haha.

but don't worry, my finger's alright now, it's brown again. haha. lesson learnt, plasters are evil. haha.

today sucked. really.

supposedly cca was cancelled since j2s were having march block tests the whole day. but us j1s, being so enthu abt rockclimbing, went to Climb Asia to boulder.

i find the place intimidating coz it sort of radiates an aura of expertise. like amateurs are not allowed.lol.

anyway, generally i like the boulder walls there coz it's very challenging and easy to set routes. marcus helped set routes for us to get us going and then he went off to climb with other intermediates, after a while the rest of us got the hang of setting routes ourselves and for each other and the whole experience was kinda fun except for two accidents: i nearly broke my arm and jane sprained her ankle, both due to falling the wrong way after completing the same boulder route.

the bouldering session turned out to be a really good bonding session too, had alot of laughs with the girls and guys. and then more people turned up, from ite college east and some jc/poly. this ite girl was stuck on the wall almost the whole time. she climbed from left to right and then back, for like soo many times. dn i'm so envious of her strength. all the while i was thinking of my dumbbells at home. haha must weight-lift more! some guys even did pull ups one the rocks on the wall and some were upside down..crazy stuff.

then after that, my family and i celebrated mom's birthday with a dinner at segar restaurant at bedok. the food was great and i like the atosphere of the place too, not so crowded.

went to support seniors at bouldering competition today. it was held at velocity mall at novena square. it was my first time watching a rockclimbing competition and i realised how GOOD the other jcs are. like seriously good. i thought my seniors were really good, but there are sooo many others better. tj was one of the best. our only 'weapon' is marcus luh coz he has many years of experience. damn is he pro or what! each person had to climb four different boulder routes and marcus only had to attempt the last one (and supposedly the most difficult) once when so many others kept falling. then i found out he had like, 5 years experience. NO WONDERRR.

there were SOOOOOO hot guys! hahaha. eye candy overdose. muscular and toned some more.

the competitors were given a sleeveless shirt which all of the guys changed into. obviously they loved it since it shows off their muscles. all the girls also wore it. but i was so disgusted by those who wore it without anything under, just theirbra. nevermind if they were wearing sports bra, but some wore the normal bra! this one girl who only wore a normal bra under the sleeveless shirt bend down to tie her shoelaces and put on a free show. can see her boobs sia! like seriously, so exposed till almost can see her nipples. all of us were so disgusted. and then this other girl wore a green bra, and when she fell off the wall onto the mat, her shirt got shifted and her green bra was exposed. how embarrassing was that sia. the lady official tried to help readjust her shirt for her. that girl feeling paiseh already, quickly clutched the shirt closer to her chest. too late, saw enough already. lol.

btw, xin ning said WE (the j1s) will be competing in LEAD-CLIMBING in july. wtf in 3 months?? scary. but i'm kinda excited too. =))

rockclimbing has taught me something which is my worst enemy is no one else but myself. that is really true. really. when you want something, there's always something that's holding you back and most of the time it's psychologically.

i can't do it...the rest can't, so what makes me think i can...i'll try some other time...

now i'm always reminding myself to fight the negative, lazy, evil side of me so i can reach my goals. =)

ok, jc life has been interesting. so far, i hate tutorials (coz need to pass up hw) and loves lectures (coz can nod off to sleep without getting caught most of the time, oh and day-dream too). i HEART rockclimbing very very much. had a 3 day camp last fri to sun, damn fun damn fun damn fun! got to bond with the fellow j1s, there are only 16 of us. got alot of cuts and bruises, pulled through CRAZYY pt sessions and learned how to do chin ups. assisted kind la. haha.

yup, i really really love rock climbing to the extend that i don't mind the crazy pt, warm up sessions. coz i tell myself that at the end of the day, it's all about the rock wall, baybeh! and tmr, we'll start our first course at climbasia! yayyyyyyy!

oh last yesterday we did the beep test and i only reached stage 5 out of 20 stages. wtf. the best was stage 9. by a guy luhh..

and i want my own dumb bells.
